This week's post is a special one, for a sad reason.
As reported all over the comic book world, last Monday, February 21st, Dwayne McDuffie, one of the most prolific writers for comics and animation of the last years passed away at the age of 49, a day after his birthday.
The outpouring of sadness and praise for McDuffie's work and contribution for diversity on the comic book industry has been coming across the internet, and FoF is joining the tribute to his memory with this post.
Inspired by this post over at Project:Rooftop, asking for redesigns of one of McDuffie's most notable characters, Static, I jumped on the chance to give my humble two cents to this tribute.
From March 4th, drop by Project:Rooftop and see how some talented artists pay their respects to the late writer's life and work, when the redesign site hosts McDuffie Week.
Next week, we'll get back to the regular programming.

Doomsday by Fernando Lucas
Hi everyone, sorry for the temporary silence.
Work has been demanding a lot of concentration in these last few weeks, but here's the FoF blog back on track for a new entry.
This time, we welcome another new addition to the contributing roster.
Fernando Lucas brings us Doomsday, following another DC Comics villain, Darkseid.
Besides sharing the same company, there's some backstory between this two, as explained on Doomsday's Wikipedia page.
Check back next week for a new entry!
